Admission Procedure
Schedules for admission to the classes are announced by the Azad
Kashmir Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpur and
the
University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. A candidate finally selected for admission to the class is
required to deposit the fee and funds within the prescribed
date; otherwise the admission is libel to be cancelled.
The copies of certificate and the photograph are not returned
even if the candidate is refused admission.
Fee and funds, deposited in the college are not refundable in
any case.

Admission to the following classes in given:
I.com (I & II)
F.Sc (Computer Science) Statistics, Mathematics, Economics
B.Com (I & II),
MBA
Eligibility
A Candidate for admission to the I.Com must hold Matriculation
Certificate. For B.Com a candidate must hold F.Sc I.Com/D.com /F.A
Certificate. Preference will be given to the following merit
within respective Categories:-
(a) Commerce Students
(b) Science Students
(c) Art Students preferably with Economics, Statistics
& Mathematics.
If the required number of properly qualified candidate is not
available under any of above categories, the Seats will be
filled at the discretion of the Principle.
Admission is given on the basis of Test & Interview. The
Candidates are required to present all the original documents at
the time of interview.
Medium of Instruction
Medium of instruction for the I.Com & F.Sc classes is Urdu &
English .There are yearly examinations of Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Board of intermediate and Secondary Education, Mirpur where in
pass marks percentage is 33.
Medium of Instruction for B.Com classes expect Islamiat and
Pakistan Studies is English. There is yearly examination of the
University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir where in marks percentage is
40.
Late Admission
Late fee is charged from the students seeking admission
late, due to special circumstances, provided seats are
available. A surcharged of Rs: 200/- will be charged in addition
to the late fee as prescribed by the Azad Kashmir Board and
University.
Re-Admission
A student may be re-admitted, if the Principle desires within 10
days from the date when his/her name was struck off the rolls of
college. Re-admission fee is uniform i.e. Rs: 400 payable by a
student irrespective of the class to which he/she belong.

Boys
Summer: white Shirt and gray trousers with
black shoes.
Winter:
woolen dark blue blazer, coat or sweater in additional to the
above.
Girls
Summer: white Shalwar Qameez and dark blue Duppatta with
Black shoes.
Winter: woolen dark blue blazer, coat or sweater in addition
to The above.
The Educational Procedure
The educational Year: According to the educational
code the educational year starts from 1st of May and terminates
on 30th of April of next year. Students are required to pay the
dues for the full year even if they take admission at any stage.
Starts of Admission Admission to I.Com /F.Sc (first
years) Starts after the declaration of the results of Secondary
School (spring) Examination by the Board of intermediate &
Secondary Education, Mirpur A.K.
Admission to B.Com (Part one) starts after the declaration of
the result of intermediate & D.Com. (Spring Examination by the
Board of intermediate & Secondary Education, Mirpur A.K)
Admission to I.Com (II year) and B.Com (Part II) remains open
for 10 days after the completion of I.Com (part-I) & B.Com (I)
Examinations respectively.
The Examinations
The examination for I.Com F.Sc and B.Com. Classes are held by
the Board of intermediate & Secondary Education, and the
University of
Azad Jammu and Kashmir respectively twice a year and the student
are permitted to appear in the relevant examination subject to
the following rules. 80 percent regular attendance is essential Candidate with
less than 60 percent attendance shall be debarred from taking
the annual examination. Student must have cleared all dues of
the institution to become eligible for taking the examination.
All forms, documents and dues must have submitted within the
prescribed period. Only the student clearing all house tests
shall be eligible for bard and University examination.
House tests The progress Report of the House test is sent
to the parents at the given address.
Examination Record Internal assessment of the student is the
based on progress in studies, class attendance and class test
during his/her stay at college. Papers and other record of a
student can be checked within one month after the completion of
Exam. After the expiry of the said period the record will be
disposed off.

In addition to passing the B.Com, final examination, a
candidate in order to be eligible for B.Com Degree, is also
required to get three months continuous practical training with
a commercial concern as approved by the college.
Issuance of Certificate
After the declaration of result the principle is authorized
to issue Provisional and character certificate to get admission
in higher classes or to join service. All such applications
should be submitted through the office.
Discipline and Conduct A discipline committee
consisting of the following member makes decisions regarding the
discipline and conduct:

Smoking in the college is strictly prohibited. The decision
of the Principle shall, in all cases, be final. He possesses all
discretionary powers to relax any rule.
Dues Payment regulations Fee and funds deposited in the Account of college for nay
class are not refundable in any case. The Dues are to be paid in
advance as required. Fees must be paid by the prescribed date
even though the student is absent from the classes. If a student
wishes to leave the college, he/she shall have to make a formal
application of withdrawal before the last date of the term
otherwise he/she shall be liable to pay the dues for the
following months
Financial Aid and Scholarship Fee-concession by the
Noor-uz-Zaman Qureshi foundation may be granted to the poor and
needy student. The college offers a Gold Medal every year to the
student who stand first in the A.K Board and University final
Examination. Book-prize are awarded by the College to the
student standing first in different subjects in the House
Examination and on the basis of the Board and University
Examination. |
